This project creates speculative, responsive, protective garments to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance. Made from bio-material yarns infused with bee pollen and achai, the garments defend against harmful bacteria and feature thermochromic properties to indicate exposure to resistant environments.
The work envisions garments as living entities that actively protect their wearers.
